Swift Picnic
These photos might look familiar if you remember last year's swift picnic. The swifts are these crazy birds that fly through portland every fall and nest in an elementary school chimney. They start gathering in the sky at sundown, and then right as it becomes dark they fly in to the chimney at such a speed it looks like they are being sucked into it. We tried to bring the same picnic as last year, with the addition of chicken in a coffee can made by my dad and smoked oysters. It was a delight.
